The technical characteristics of our handles, made of lightweight PE of the brand Gaphikstein+
The weight of our products is reduced by approximately 40% compared to conventional standard materials.
All application-relevant and high-quality technical properties are consistently maintained.
STEILSTEIN lightweight PE handles are made exclusively from Graphikstein+®, an advanced mineral casting that meets the highest quality standards.
This material, developed by our long-standing established cooperation partner/producer KS-Graphik/Wipperfürth, has been and continues to be further developed over a long period of time and is therefore continuously optimized.
For this reason, Graphikstein+ is consistently used in the production of various other components, which generally meet various high quality standards.
STEISTEIN products made of Graphikstein+® are manufactured exclusively in the KS-Graphik factory in
Manufactured in Wipperfürth.
Graphikstein® contains no heavy metals (RoHs), is PAH-free (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons), and is free from halogen-containing raw materials.
All colors used in the production of STEILSTEIN are basically free of heavy metals, including lead and cadmium.
They do not contain any mono- or di-AZO pigments that require declaration.
Climbing holds made of Graphikstein+® are food safe and saliva resistant, according to Section 2 Paragraph 6 No. 1 of the Food and Consumer Goods Act.
Our producer KS-Graphik does not use any release agents or glass fibers that are hazardous to health.
Graphikstein+® is tested according to DIN 50050-2(1/88) and meets the requirements of building material/fire protection class B2.
In addition, the requirements for building material/fire protection class B1 can be met upon request.
Graphikstein+® was subjected to the artificial weathering test UVCON.
After carrying out the extensive standardized series of tests and subsequent material testing, no mechanical changes or deficiencies could be detected.
Graphikstein+® is absolutely colorfast, even outdoors and under the water surface.
We offer a 25-year quality guarantee against weathering.
Our producer KS-Graphik is environmentally conscious and naturally keen to source as many materials as possible locally.
However, if this is not possible for some components, they will be sourced from within Europe.
The EU regulation called REACH has been in force since June 1, 2007.
This component of the current EU chemicals legislation is intended to ensure early identification of chemical substances in the human and environmental supply chain.
As a manufacturer of 'articles', our producer KS-Graphik is, according to the REACH regulation, a so-called 'downstream user', which as such is subject to an unrecorded REACH registration obligation.
The registration obligation for the redesigned users only applies to direct imports of substances or preparations from outside the EU.
This is not the case with our manufacturer.
However, the supplier can assure that it will currently and in the future only use raw materials, auxiliary materials and finishing materials that are legally available on the market, i.e. that are registered in accordance with the REACH Regulation.
When disposed of, STEILSTEIN/Graphikstein+® is not hazardous waste.
Our material can therefore be disposed of with regular household waste.
When shredded, the materials can be used as gravel or filling material.
